Hugo Chavez sat in front of the warm glow of his gas fireplace in a bedroom resplendent with ostentatious décor. No Dickensian minimalism for Hugo – the boudoir basked in the warmth of the gas flame and bright lights twinkled off the golden candelabra and chandelier which enriched the sense of well being. The ghost was festooned with an indescribable clutter from the fall of capitalism, but the most visible were the empty oil drums shackled to his legs. “Why are those there?” stammered Hugo. The cavernous voice replied, “They represent the stupidity of Venezuelan leaders who gave their oil wealth away just to spite the “northern gringo”. “But that was to help the masses,” replied Hugo.
At this point the ghost shoved an empty oil drum under his rear and towed him through the air to a dismal place. A hungry, destitute Venezuelan family, sat around a table sharing a meager, harsh-leavened loaf of bread and on the table rested an open newsleaf. Hugo’s picture appeared at the header and the body of it proclaimed his great successes in appropriating the steel industry and banking industry and cement, electricity, farming, and more to come… so that these entities would belong to all the people. His greatest triumph was the closing of critical media outlets.

With a final hollow wail, as if from the depths of an empty cavern, the apparition pointed a gnarled finger ahead of them. “See what awaits you,…you groveling wretch!” At this the bent, quivering figure of Hugo Chavez lifted his head and looked across the face of a new, bleak landscape. As the wind howled, he could see a row of poles sticking high above the desolation, and from each hung a lifeless body. “Approach your friends Hugo!” bellowed the ghost with the affirmation of a sword through the heart.
As Hugo staggered near the high poles his face contorted in recognition. Stalin, Mussolini, Mugabe, Hitler, Arafat, Castro, Che….and on and on. Each a past lord of total government control for the good of the people.“But,… what is this ?” uttered Hugo. They did not all die this way. Castro lived to a ripe old age. His way was a success to his country,… as mine shall be.” He spat this in defiance.
The ghost then dragged Hugo on his last grand tour. Without mercy, Hugo was exposed to gut-wrenching visions of official torment, through the dungeons and cells of each of the interminable failed experiments by governments who kept an iron leash on their people. For the good of the people. He was dragged over the bloated bellies and bones and maggot infested reality of the starving and wretched subjects of the world’s Mugabes. And he was forced to labour in the wretched work camps of desolate societies which had succeded in killing the life out of capitalism. And finally, he was forced to view the lifeless, violated bodies of those socialist tyrants before him, who had finally succumbed at the hands of those they had tormented. This stinks! Unfortunately something rotten happened in the state of Demark where our so-called “world leaders” acquiesced to a tax escalating and wealth transferring scam. A Canadian PM more apprehensive pursuant to the economy and welfare of Canadians than he is about his own prospects would enthusiastically and ardently oppose any form of the fraud known as “Cap, Tax, & Transfer”. This scam will devastate the Canadian economy, transfer billions of our tax dollars to corrupt socialistic/communist countries, slaughter tens of thousands of our jobs, and diminish our standard of living
Now that communism has been invalidated, “Climatism” is the new “ism” adopted by the extremists as their vehicle to increase taxes and transfer wealth just as Trudeau’s National Energy Program was intended. The inconvenient truth is that the job slaughtering “Cap, Tax & Transfer” scheme that left-plunging Harper and Prentice are about to inflict us is a stealth strategy for enormous, disingenuous long-term, structural tax increases. “Cap, Tax & Transfer” will evolve around an economic Ponzi scheme that includes an enormous new source of tax revenue to the Canadian government to allow it to continue its current expansion into the private sector, will transfer billions of our tax dollars to undeserving often corrupt countries, will demolish tens of thousands of high paying manufacturing and service jobs, will result in the transfer of political power to the emerging global governance, and will be a devastating disasters for our children’s standard of living.
The Climate Change Fund (CCF) will increase the reach, power, and authority of global governance and transfer at least $100 billion a year to the nations (many corrupt, some communist) of the world who repudiate creating their own wealth. The recipients, who are commonly corrupted/socialistic leaders, are demanding annual transfers of hundreds of billions of dollars, and on top of that, if you can believe it, they don’t want the donor countries to have much authority as to how the money is spent (wasted), to monitor the spending of our tax dollars, or to authenticate emission reductions. Harper must amend comrade Prentice’s tax increasing proclamation by asserting that Canada categorically will not raise the necessary taxes which will be required if we contribute to this scam fund which will finance the retirement funds for thousands of corrupt, socialistic, illegitimate, wack-job leaders such as the Mugubes, Kims, Hus, Ahmadinejads, and Chavezes of this world. Surely we all remember the last time that the UN was given responsibility to administrate a multibillion dollar program, and how they incompetently screw-up the corrupt “Food for Oil” fund.
Countries that participate in this wealth transferring and tax increasing scam will discover that their government deeds will result in a massive increase in taxes plus the cost of goods and services such as gasoline, electricity, and most industrial produced products. The increase in the price of Canadian goods would make them less competitive in world markets. Canadian producers will suffer in export markets and domestically in competition with goods imported from countries that do not impose high implicit tax on CO2 emissions. The results of course will be massive manufacturing and service industry job losses leading to a much lower standard of living for us and especially our children…
The latest scientific evidence clearly illustrates that the climate has not changed in the last eleven years, and that the so-called “climate change” is a socialistic hoax to transfer wealth. Therefore, at this time our PM must not annihilate the Canadian economy just to please the left-wing extremists who insist on higher taxes and wealth transfers. British climate expert Anthony Cary reports that “climate science is in its infancy….only fools or rogues pretend to be sure of what is going on. Our climate models are barely predictive”. Rational people would think that the first step must include legitimate research and informed discussions pursuant to the current climate change paradigms rather than relying on erroneous computer models based on left-bias assumptions and manipulated data by some rogue “scientists”. These scientists are competing in a culture of exaggeration for the finite number of government research dollars by fabricating gloom and doom fantasies. The deliberations must include more than incontrovertibly paying attention to the biased press and environmental NGOs, each of which have their far-left agendas plus incentives to increase their influence and earnings or government grants. Step two would mandate the private sector, including the investment community possibly with tax incentives, to research, develop, produce, and implement technology necessary, such as carbon capture and sequestration, to resolve any climate problems that might be scientifically and legitimately confirmed to be acute; by reducing the carbon intensity per unity of production.
It is becoming increasing transparent that the so-called “climate change” panic is nothing more than a deception by far-left wealth redistributing advocates. Unfortunately Canada does not have a small-c fiscal conservative PM, nor are small-c conservatives represented in the Conservative Party or the Canadian Parliament, so left- plummeting Harper will likely effusively partake in this wealth transferring swindle which will begin slaughtering the Canadian economy. It is important that, if our left-plunging PM is susceptible enough to fall for this con, he at least include existing development aid.

Hard to refute any of what you say, but the current political climate is that the climate koolaid converts far outnumber those who see the truth. It is political suicide currently, to deny openly. Hence, we will likely have to witness the damage of these lunatic schemes before we see the light.
