I Believe in Michael Mann and Wiarton Willie
Finally someone is taking an interest in the plight of Little Red Riding Hood. Unfortunately it’s the wolf.
The above statement is analogous to the sudden interest sparked up in the attention span of the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Suddenly, after swallowing their feet and standing petrified in the headlights of an oncoming scandal, they are interested in investigating the allegations made against the data fudgers at the Climatic Research Unit of East Anglia U. We should all beware of their sudden, wolfish interest. There are already enough fast fingered deleters at the CRU. According to hacked e-mails, they were ready to destroy evidence of their massaged statistics if the sceptics got too close to them. No good can possibly come, now, from entrusting the IPCC with the safety of this evidence. This bunch are locked in amorous embrace with the fraudsters of the CRU. Both wish for the same outcomes, and both have shown the same propensity for massaging numbers. (Like the claim that 2500 "scientists" endorsed the IPCC’s report on climate.)
So far, no time has been wasted by all those who drink the Al Gore koolaid, from statisticians to MSM, in attempting to minimize the damage. Suddenly, the statistics which have anchored the IPCC report and the infamous "hockey stick", are no longer "important". There are other substantiating data. Sort of like, if you don’t like our principles, don’t worry, we’ve got others. And where will this data come from? If all the accumulated evidence from climatic data collection facilities all over the globe, cannot provide the preferred conclusion desired by these global meddlers, where will we look next? In Wiarton Willie’s lair?
